Opening Times ยปHazel Bank is based on the grounds of the Knaresborough Gun Club which has been established since 1960. The 3.4 acre site houses a number of shooting setups for a range of disciplines which include:
We are situated right on the edge of the Vale of York with great views all round. We really think there is nowhere better to go to shoot on a warm, summer day! Here you can find a relaxed, informal environment with plenty of like-minded people who will welcome you to the ground.
We have regular competitions which are open to everyone and give you the chance to win cash prizes!
MarkHazel Bank is run by Mark Lawson, an experienced instructor who has been shooting since his teens. He is the main point of contact at the ground and runs the place with the help of his staff.
He also provides tuition for novices, veterans, stag & hen parties and corporate days alike.
FacilitiesWe have modern, button-operated clay traps which can simulate a huge range of targets. Our sporting targets change every day in order to provide a realistic and entertaining round when you come and visit.
The ground has a clubhouse which provides somewhere to relax between rounds with toilets, bacon butties, tea/coffee, tuck shop and cartridges for sale. We have a large carpark which can accommodate around 60 cars.
